First Half Financial is a product of Nikao Trust. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it, in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

• Account details: name, email, and the password you choose (stored securely, never in plain text).
• Journey information you enter yourself: your goal, monthly savings amount, income and existing savings (used only to calculate your personal retirement gap), account status (TFSA/RA opened or funded), and a simple net worth snapshot.
• Check-in history: whether you contributed each month.

Why we collect it

Solely to run the First Half Financial journey for you: to calculate your personal numbers, track your progress, and — only if you choose to — introduce you to Halftime Financial or a partner you select.

Who we share it with

Nobody, by default. If you choose "Continue with Halftime Financial", your sign-in carries over because both products share the same secure login system — no plan data is sent. If you choose "Be introduced to a partner", we only send your plan summary to that specific partner after you give a separate, explicit, versioned consent naming that partner.

Where it's stored

Your data is stored with Supabase, our database provider, protected by row-level security so that only you (and, for the specific fields you consent to share, a partner you've chosen) can read your own records.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, or delete your personal information at any time, and you can withdraw consent for a partner introduction before it happens. Contact us at winning@halftimefinancial.io.
